I started
programming in BASIC on a Tandy Color Computer 2 in junior high school
when I was 12 years old. I've since tried
other languages but have always come back to BASIC because of its
simplicity, compactness, and ease of use. I discovered Marin Saric's
METAL BASIC compiler for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X in 2002 and have been
using it ever since.
METAL_OSX.zip and METAL_OS9.sit
are archives that includes the METAL 1.7.3
BASIC compiler &
documentation, the source code for all the programs you see below, and
the screen captures as well. Filesize ≈ 17 MB
